When are tickets released?
We release tickets at 10 a.m. ET on the first of each month for the following 60 days.
If you do not find immediate availability, please know that the website is updated in real-time and will reflect changes or cancellations made by other visitors.
Do I need a ticket to visit the Café/Patio, bookstore, or to walk the grounds?
Yes, you will need to reserve a ticket to visit the Café/Patio or to walk the grounds. The Book Store is located in the Arrival Hall and may be visited without tickets. Tickets are always free.
Are infants included in the “no children under 12” policy?
Infants under 1 year of age are welcome at Glenstone. For more information about visiting with your infant please review Glenstone's Age Policy.
Can my pet visit Glenstone with me if we stay outdoors?
Pets, emotional support animals, comfort animals, therapy animals, and all other animals not specifically covered in the American with Disabilities Act are not permitted at Glenstone. Service animals are welcome. View the ADA classification of Service Animals.
Do you have a coat or bag check?
Lockers and coat storage are available in both the Pavilions and the Gallery at no cost. Bags over 11 inches in size will need to be stored in a locker.
Can I bring my own food and drinks to Glenstone?
Glenstone encourages visitors to bring water bottles for the outdoor trails, especially in the warmer months. In the spring, summer, and fall, water bottle filling stations are available at several points on our trails. Small snacks and personal food items may be brought, but no food or drink is allowed in the museum spaces. Glenstone does not allow picnicking.
Does Glenstone have a gift shop?
Glenstone has a bookstore located in the Arrival Hall. The bookstore carries Glenstone publications and books about art, architecture, and nature. It also carries postcards and limited-edition exhibition posters. Credit card payments accepted, no cash.
Do you offer public tours?
We do not currently offer guided tours of the indoor art spaces.
However, we do host daily Nature Walks led by Guides and members of our Grounds maintenance team. Learn more about Nature Walks and other programming.
How can I learn more about nature and sustainability at Glenstone?
If you have an upcoming visit planned, please visit our Environmental Center, which highlights the museum’s sustainability efforts in composting, organic landscape management, waste reduction, materials recycling, and water conservation.

When is Split-Rocker in bloom?
Split-Rocker, 2000, is in bloom annually from May to October.
Can I rent space at Glenstone to host an event like a conference or wedding?
We do not offer event space, but we wish you well with your event.
Can I sketch/paint at Glenstone?
Sketching with a pencil in the galleries and the landscape is welcome. Use of charcoal, pastels, markers, and paint of any kind is not permitted. These materials are not permitted within the Pavilions or Gallery buildings and may not be left inside visitor lockers of any building.
