Program Description

In this interactive presentation, will be introduced to the basics of formalism and the benefits of close-looking as a kind of mindfulness activity while slowing down to observe objects in nature.

Material Needed

To participate in this virtual presentation, students will need

• access to a computer or shared screen to view the presentation. If possible, camaras should be on so our team can see students and microphones should be muted.

• a leaf from a tree or plant; please encourage students to pick a leaf that has already fallen off a tree.

• a pencil.

• 3 pieces of paper.

• color pencils, markers, or crayons to bring life to your drawing.
