Program Description

In this presentation, students will learn about Glenstone and get to know an artist in our collection. After an introduction to the artist, the Community Engagement team will lead students through three drawing exercises by close-looking of works on view by that artist. At the end, students will be challenged to make their own Glenstone collection inspired artwork.

Materials Needed

To participate in this virtual presentation, students will need

• access to a computer or shared screen to view the presentation. If possible, camaras should be on so our team can see students and microphones should be muted.

• a pencil.

• 3-5 pieces of paper.

• color pencils, markers, or crayons to bring life to your drawing.
