Glenstone Museum Updates Its Organizational Structure
Glenstone Museum has created a new organizational structure and appointed an expanded leadership team to guide the museum as it presents a growing exhibitions program to broader audiences.
“For some time now, we have been thinking about what matters most for Glenstone as we navigate the immediate challenges of the pandemic and as we plan for an enduring future for this institution,” said Emily Wei Rales, director and co-founder of Glenstone. “As part of our strategic planning, we have created new roles and departments and reimagined the senior leadership structure to accomplish our ambitious goals. I am proud that we have built such a talented leadership team who share my passion and commitment to Glenstone’s success.”
The six-person leadership team, which took effect on November 1, now includes:
Nora Cafritz, Senior Director of Collections
Tony Cerveny, Chief Operating Officer
Alicia Davis, Director of Human Resources
Valentina Nahon, Senior Director of Public Engagement
Heather Nolan, Director of Finance
Emily Wei Rales, Director
In the reorganization process, the museum also created a new department and position:
Community Engagement (with Peter Ibenana as Manager)
Director of Environmental Stewardship (held by Paul Tukey)
The team will define organization-wide policy and strategy and will guide the museum as it navigates the COVID-19 pandemic. The museum is currently closed until further notice to support the community’s efforts to slow the spread of the virus.
